Crown Royal is bottled at 40% and is in theory all made at their distillery in Gimli Manitoba, but I've personally seen casks of Crown, distilled at the Paliser Distillery in Lethbridge, AB, patiently awaiting shipment East. The brand was first produced in 1939 to celebrate King George V first official visit to Canada. Crown Royal is best served with Coke, seriously... it helps mask the rough edges.
