Nose: Juicy red apples, fragrant blackberries and sultanas with caramel wafers, demerara sugar, cinnamon and a hint of stem ginger.
Palate: Juicy blackcurrant and spiced pears with lavish vanilla toffee, sticky dates and raisins and hints of oak spice and star anise.
Finish: Fruity, syrupy and spiced.

Our 3rd KWM exclusive cask of Millstone is a single malt distilled in 2016, and matured in an Oloroso sherry hogshead. The whisky has been bottled after 7 years at 52.3%. We're big fans of Millstone and its impresario Patrick Van Zuidam. We've been looking for an opportunity to select and bottle a cask of sherry-matured Millstone single malt, and are thrilled that this one is finally here!
The artwork on the label is from a painting of the store Andrew's wife Jen had made for him several years ago... it is our old entrance, pre-"the infamous Dodge Ram incident!"

This G&M Miltonduff was selected and bottled exclusively for Kensington Wine Market. Distilled in 2007, this Miltonduff was matured for 17 years in a first fill ex-Sherry hogshead (Cask #19600502) before being bottled at a cask strength of 56.9%
This is only our 2nd ever KWM single cask of Miltonduff, but it is our 16th KWM single cask bottling from Gordon & MacPhail!

Is it a coincidence we bottled two Gordon & MacPhail Glentauchers casks in a year? Yes, but it shouldn't be all that surprising... seeing as they are bottling some of the best whisky from the distillery. This 2000 vintage was matured 23 years in a First Fill Sherry Hogshead. We were blown away by this old-school dumpy, sherried single malt... it's a very cool dram! 55.8%.

This 15 year old Speysider spent 11 years in an ex-bourbon hogshead before being transferred to a 1st fill oloroso hogshead, and was bottled at 55.5%.
