Octomore 16.3 is a 2019 vintage, produced from Concerto barley, harvest at Octomore Farm on Islay in 2018, peated to 189.5ppm. The whisky was matured in a mix of Bourbon, Sauternes, and PX Sherry casks before bottling at 5 years and 61.6%.

Nose: Blooming heather and distant bonfire smoke. Soft notes of barley sugar and freshly baked bread are brightened with hints of lemon zest and green apple peel, underpinned by delicate florals. Peat smoke is present but restrained.
Palate: A symphony of honeyed malt, toasted grain and a distinctive earthiness greet the palate. Orchard fruits, citrus and a touch of vanilla sweetness follow, whilst delicate threads of smoke and salinity weave through the malt, providing a gentle counterpoint to heather and coconutty gorse.
Finish: A medium-length finish of sweet barley, accompanied by subtle floral notes, which give way to the gentle smokiness of a beach bonfire. Citrus and a touch of minerality linger on.

Bottled at 59.1%, the Octomore 15.1 was peated to 108.2ppm, and matured 5 years in First-Fill & Recharred ex-Bourbon Casks. The distillation took place in 2018, from a crop of Concerto barley harvested on the mainland in 2017.

The spirit was distilled i 2018, and matured 5 years in first-fill ex-Bourbon casks, and first-fill Oloroso sherry hogsheads from Fernando de Castilla, Jerez, Spain. The Octomore 16.2 was made from the same parcel of malt as 16.1, peated to 101.4ppm, but differs in its maturation: "Oloroso and Bordeaux casks, recasked into Madeira and Moscatel for final year of maturation." 2019 vintage, 5 years of age, and 58.1% ABV.
