We made this by marrying together two refill hogsheads of 2017 Glen Ord. The result is a surprisingly rich, sweet and honeyed dram, with a good waxy highland backbone and juicy fruity character. Perfect for summer sipping or powering up your highballs! "

"This year’s Summer Edition of Equinox & Solstice is a single refill hogshead of 2007 Mortlach, bottled at 16 years of age and reduced to this series’ trademark easy drinking strength of 48.5%.
"We’re always on the look out for casks that go against common expectations of certain distilleries. In the case of Mortlach, we often associate this distillery and its notoriously meaty and full-bodied distillate with sherry casks. So, we were very pleased to find this refill hogshead matured example that shows this wonderfully fat and oily distillate in all its natural glory. Rich, naturally sweet, waxy, fruity and well-balanced, this is perfect for easy summer sipping or, as is often the case with this series, makes a terrific highball too."

This 11 year old Bunnahabhainwas created from lightly peated malt matured in a first fill oloroso sherry hogshead married with heavily peated malt matured in a first PX Sherry Hogshead. Bottled at 48.5%.

"This is our Winter 2024 edition of Equinox & Solstice series. It's a 2013, 11 year old, peated Bunnahabhain matured in sherrywood. To make this we combined a 1st fill Oloroso sherry hogshead of lightly peated Bunnahabhain Ardnahoe, with a 1st fill PX sherry hogshead of heavily peated Bunnahabhain Staoisha. This mix was left to marry for a couple of months, before being bottled at this series' trademark easy dramming strength of 48.5%. It's a big, rich, velvety and generously peaty Bunna, full of comforting smoky warmth and nicely assertive and salty sherry character. A perfect companion for winter nights and good cheer."
