Nose: Warm sunny bananas, dried mango, toasted coconut with roasted cashew nuts. Keeping with the lovely warmth we also have golden caster sugar coating golden raisins. While all very tropical at first blush, take note of the darker funkier notes that develop along the way. Look for warm hay in a horse barn, roasted agave, and star anise.
Palate: Oh! The warm bananas have become unripe ones, maybe they’re even plantain crisps? The palate even has a little mezcal pepperiness. Our tropical rum has become a little savoury number.
Finish: Foam bananas make a delightful appearance with a long warming length before drawing you back in for another sip.

Our first KWM Cask from indie bottler Single Cask Nation! This Caol Ila was distilled in 2015. It was finished in a Brazilian Rum cask for 1 year before being bottled at a cask strength of 57.4%.

This Jamaican Rum is a blend of 17 barrels sourced from different distilleries in the country. The blend includes 2005 pot still rum from New Yarmouth, 2005 pot still rum from Long Pond, 2008 pot still rum, and 2007 column and pot still rum from Clarendon. Only 5188 bottles of this 13-year-old were filled at a strength of 46%.
