In the case of Mortlach, we often associate this distillery and its notoriously meaty and full-bodied distillate with sherry casks. So, we were very pleased to find this refill hogshead matured example that shows this wonderfully fat and oily distillate in all its natural glory. Rich, naturally sweet, waxy, fruity and well-balanced, this is perfect for easy summer sipping or, as is often the case with this series, makes a terrific highball too."
