This 1982 Pulteney is a sister single cask to one we had a couple of years ago. Bottled at 40 years of age, and 54.9% after maturing in a Refill American Oak Hogshead.

Nose: waxy candied peel aromas with ripe banana and passion fruit, followed by lemon and lime notes. Beeswax polish and oak provide balance.
Palate: smooth and vibrant, with rich citrus and apricot conserve flavours giving way to dried tobacco and a hint of chili spice on the palate.
Finish: full with ripe exotic fruit complemented by charred oak.
