This estate has always been has been around for some time now, but the wines and winery have reached their full potential. Michele Faro and his team (winemaker Carlo Ferrini is a consultant) have made impressive leaps and bounds in quality - from the stunning historic vineyards they own to the immaculately designed gravity winery that is coated with slabs of volcanic stone. They are expetional wines in every sense.
750ml mlCrafted entirely from 100% Nerello Mascalese grapes produced from 80-year-old, pre-phylloxera alberello-trained vines located in the Contrada Feudo di Mezzo on the northern slopes of Mount Etna. Aromas of wild red berries, crushed stones, strawberry, wild herbs, and distinct savory or smoky mineral undertones. It features a medium-full body, high acidity, and firm, structured tannins.
