With warehousing and blending done in Ferndale, Washington, Doc Swinson's is a bottler of sourced Bourbon and Rye Whiskies that are blended together in small (sometimes very small) batches and released under one of three ranges. Nose: Bright citrus, Creme brulee, toasted rye bread
Palate: Orange marmalade, whipped honey butter on rye toast, with slight earthy biscuit-ey notes, finishes with sweet tobacco
Finish: A delightful ensemble that greets you with citrus marmalade, and falls to fireroasted hatch chili pepper and toasted rye bread. Moves onto a subtle, yet longlasting sweet tobacco that stays on your palette (think of a long draw on a rich and sweet cigar; bright leading into rich earth and dried fruits)

Chapter VIII (or Chapter 8 for us plebeians) of Little Book puts the focus on Rye Whiskey in a big way. This batch blends together Kentucky and Pensylvania Rye styles between 4 and 11 years of age along with some 18 Year Old High-Rye Bourbon. The result hits the bottle at a respectable 59.1% ABV.
