Black Swift Vineyards is a wine venture based on the rapidly evolving regions of the Okanagan and Similkameen Valleys. While only around 9,000 acres, these regions are distinct in the world of wine for their ability to grow a diverse array of premium Vitis vinifera grapes from an assortment of macroclimates. From North to South and East to West, they see a multifaceted variety of soil types, topography, environments, and people.

Black Swift Vineyards and Screaming Frenzy came about when they were spit-balling winery concepts at their production facility in Peachland in 2014. They wanted something that celebrated their vineyards and growers, but also wanted something that in an industry full of snobbery, didn’t take itself too seriously. While the name Screaming Frenzy implies a sense of anarchy and chaos, this delightful tipple is of a more refined and resplendent nature - more at home within an English garden with its nose of mandarin orange and honeysuckle, than it's hatchy origins. The taste is perfumed with a light acidity and some residual sugar, making it off-dry.
