Uncommon Cider Company is an urban craft cidery located in the heart of Calgary. The majority of their apples are collected locally. With their continued experiments with different styles of ciders, they are able to push the boundaries of cider to a whole new level.
All the fruit in Uncommon's "Hello YYC" Cider is donated by Calgarians. This is the fifth year making this truly special Calgary Cider, made possible by Calgarians’ generosity. They sort and hand-press every apple, fermenting with wild yeasts, and then aged for at least 15 months.
Through the generosity of Calgarians, Uncommon donates a portion of all proceeds from this bottle to Inn from the Cold.

Remember: Dry hopping is the process of adding hops near the end of the brewing process. This results in very little bitterness, but showcases the more aromatic qualities of hops. This cider has a nice, round fruity base, and has wonderful tropical fruit and melon notes along with hints of herbs and maybe even grass.
