"Falanghina is an ancient varietal grown almost exclusively in the Campania region, the vines thrive in the porous volcanic soils around Mount Vesuvius and the warm Mediterranean climate. Falanghina wines are well structured, full-bodied and memorable thanks to the distinct and aromatic nose resembling orange peel and fresh kumquats. The name for the wine appears to derive from the Latin falangae, or stakes for supporting the grapes in a vineyard.

White wine accounts for just 3% of Domaine Tempier’s total wine production. It is made from grapes grown on the estate’s finest vineyards which benefit from limited exposure to sunshine. This results in the grapes ripening slowly which allows the wine to mature with good balance after spending 8 to 10 months in oak casks.
Nik Weis St Urbans-Hof Riesling

This winery has been in the Weis family for centuries, but it was only in 1947 that they replanted the vines and moved their way into making wine. Nicolaus Weis, who founded the production, pioneered the winery forward, and when his son, Hermann, took over in the 1960's, they were already on their way to great things. Hermann continued to build their nursery, becoming one of the largest in Germany, which marked Hermann as one of the best vine breeders around, especially in regards to Riesling. It wasn't long before Hermann's started to expand, and he was the first person to introduce Vitis Vinifera to Ontario, planting the first batch of Riesling in what now is Vine Land Winery. His Son, Nic, joined the production in 1997, and since then, they reduced their vineyard holdings by selling off their lesser quality patches. Nic started to use only the oldest part of the vineyard to produce this wine, and with wild fermentation, the quality of this wine is outstanding for its value. This Riesling is fresh and vibrant, with that traditional Mosel minerality. With notes of orchard fruit, blossom, citrus and wet rock, it is the perfect companion for any meal.

Zibbibo, a.k.a. Muscat of Alexandria is thought to be one of the oldest genetically unmodified vines still in existence. It is a member of the Muscat family, likely originating in North Africa ('zibib is Arabic for 'grape') that adapts well to a variety of hot, arid climates. Today it is grown in Southern Italy, Greece, Portugal and Spain, and there are also significant plantings in Australia and South Africa. In Sicily Zibibbo has long been used to make a wide range of styles of wine, from dry, to sweet to sparkling. Mandarossa Zibibbo has Intense aromas and flavours of orange blossom, citrus and white peach. Fresh and balanced with mineral notes and a long, pleasing finish.

A production based on the Naramata Bench, LFNG Stock aims to produce high-quality wines within the Okanagan. These lively, yet elegant wines are a beautiful representation of the Okanagan. This Viognier is grown in Osoyoos, about an hour south of the winery, where the weather is warmer. This allows for the grapes to ripen fully. it is then fermented in concrete eggs, which are lightly porous thus allowing the wine to breathe without imparting any flavours. The egg shape brings some unique properties to the fermentation process by keeping the lees in a constant state of movement. A beautiful expression of Viognier, with a bright acidity, and an elegantly balanced oily mouthfeel.
