Their Single Malt is triple distilled and bottled at 46.3% after being matured in a combination of PX Sherry and first-fill ex-Bourbon casks. It is purportedly composed of 6 to 7-year-old Dingle Whiskey stock.

Hinch is one of the new kids on the block. The distillery's first spirit ran from the stills in 2020, so we know that this 12-year-old was sourced juice. Possibly (probably?) from Cooley. Triple distilled. 11 years ex-Bourbon, 12 months finish in ex-Masi Amarone casks.

The team at Jack Ryan like to call themselves Whiskey Finishers, as opposed to makers, distillers, what-have-you. They're buying spirit and playing around with maturation and finishing in order to sculpt the whiskey to their vision. It's been done before, but rarely with such candor. Neat to see this level of transparency nowadays. But transparency is meaningless without good whiskey. Fortunately, Jack Ryan seems to have no shortage of that.
This one should have some personality: "aged in bourbon, matured in madeira, finished in imperial stout" casks.
