Bottled at 43%, Release #25, is a 7 year old "Peated" and wheated single malt. Initially matured in virgin oak for one year, the whisky was then transferred to ex-Bourbon casks for the remaining maturation.

"Two Brewers offers peat laid bare, dusty ash complexion, iodine running in its veins, flesh of smudgy embers. Self indulgent and unapologetic. Like smoke laying in a chilled valley, the scent is dirty but still bright with grassy malt, apples and pears. The mellow entry quickly evolves, a malt centre with dusty ashes, scraggly edges thick with peat overload the palate, brash layers building with each successive trial."

Andrew's Tasting Note
Nose: creme brulee and dulce de leche; almond brittle with vanilla ice cream and cracked walnuts; chewy malt and toasted oak; a faint touch of smoke.
Palate: soft, creamy and packed with barley; ashy smoke and a flinty minerality; more almond brittle, vanilla ice cream and toasted oak; baked apples and loads of citrus: lemon and lime; a hint of linseed oil and wood furniture polish.
Finish: long and coating the spirit is barley forward with a hint of clean smoke.
Comment: another fine example of Shelter Point's dialed in spirit and knack for bottling young whiskies with loads of complexity!
