The plantation rums are produced in small batches, distilled and matured for the first few year in the Caribbean before being transferred to France where they are finished in Cognac casks and bottled at 42%. This rum was sourced from a Trinidadian distillery.
Andrew's Tasting Note
Nose: candied oranage, a hint of amaro, caramel chews, ripe plums and brown sugar.
Palate: sweet (very sweet), loads of caramel, more plummy fruits and candied orange.
Finish: long with soft leather and caramel, drying.
