This one says it was matured in a 'hohshead'. Does that make it collectable? Let's go with yes. Glenburgie has long been one of our favorite distilleries, so the opportunity to nab a 27-year-old seemed like a no-brainer. Only 261 bottles for the world, and less than a handful for us. 90.31pts on Whiskybase!

This 21 year old Glenburgie was distilled in 2000 and matured in a Refill Hogshead cask before bottling at 50%.
Note that this was distilled at Glenburgie distillery, not the legendary and mythical Glernburgie Distillery that we previously fabricated by means of a typo. Like the fabled Macallum, Ardberg, and Aberdelfy before it, the Glernburgie distillery has been mothballed, demolished, and spell-corrected.
