Tignanello from Marchesi Antinori is consistently one of the most sought-after Super Tuscans around and for good reason: while this red wine does feature French grapes (both Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc), it is still Italian in heart and soul thanks to thanks to being lead by 70-80% Sangiovese (depending on the vintage). The Tignanello vineyard is a large one, with 57 hectares under vine with an average vine age of 20 years.
