Strongbow is named after the Cambro-Norman knight Richard de Clare, later Earl of Pembroke, nicknamed "Strongbow" for relying heavily on Welsh archers during campaigns in Ireland, The cider is produced in Hereford by the English cider company Bulmers, cidermakers since 1887. part of Scottish and Newcastle owned by Heineken. Strongbow is often recommended to be drunk whilst eating Indian curries. It is a light golden color with good carbonation, a decent tasting cider with a good amount of sweet apple, slightly tart and dry finsh. crisp and refreshing on a hot summer day. YUM!
