This means there is likely some shared DNA between this and the Old Forester Bourbon - even beyond both whisky brands being owned by the same family company. 45.2%

Evan’s Tasting Note
Nose: Big cherry notes right off the get-go. Red Twizzlers, peach nectar, hickory-smoked peanuts still in the shell, brown sugar, and puffed wheat squares
Palate: Cherry flavoured cough syrup, chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream, peppermint tea, fresh peach slices, bananas, and cinnamon sugar doughnut twists.
Finish: Fruity and sweet but a bit drying - like a heavily steeped tea on the fade.

The Evan Williams Single Barrel may change slightly in style with every single barrel and each vintage, but it is always one of the quintessential American Whiskeys. It is made by Heaven Hill Distillers at their Bernheim Distillery in Louisville, KY and bottled at 43.3% ABV.

This is the latest release of "Berbon" from Bridgeland Distillery, which is just 5 minute drive down Memorial to the east of KWM!
This Berbon - as Bridgeland dubs it - is made primarily with corn harvested from Taber, Alberta. The specific mash bill is composed of 60% Taber Corn, plus 32% Barley and 8% Wheat both sourced from one farm in Penhold, Alberta. The spirit was aged in Virgin American Oak Barrels that received a #4 char. 45% ABV / 500ml bottles.
