KWM has managed to acquire two different 40 year old Bowmores from Signatory and they are both superb. Both are from Oloroso Sherry Butts, the first cask number 4467 which gave 489 bottles at 43.2%.

KWM has managed to acquire two different 40 year old Bowmores from Signatory and they are both superb. Both are from Oloroso Sherry Butts, this second cask, number 4686 gave only 252 bottles at 53.1%.

Signatory Caol Ila 1984

Signatory Glen Albyn 1981

Exclusive to KWM. Distilled in January of '81 and bottled in March of '10 cask #50 has produced 263 bottles from a single hogshead at 57.5%. Only 18 bottles from this long closed distillery have come in.

Signatory Glen Mhor 1982

From a closed distillery and exclusive to KWM. Distilled in September on 1982 and bottled in November of 2010 after 28 years at a cask strength of 56.8%. A wine treated hogshead has yielded 272 bottles.

Dalmore 15 Year

The 15 year old Dalmore is all about "sherry wood" having been matured in 1/3 each Amoroso, Apostoles and Matusalem sherry butts from Jerez de la Frontera in Spain. Sherry notes with hints of orange.

Mt Begbie Attila the Honey

Pours a rich copper/amber colour with a nice tan head and honey aroma. Smooth mouthfeel and an aftertaste of diminished sweetness. Nice beer.

UK Durham Benedictus

Pours a clear copper with a thick white head. Nose of dry spices, yeast and alcohol. In the mouth, very Belgian at first - lots of spice, alcohol, oranges, treacly sugar. Rich full body yet smooth and lingering .
