La Corte Re 2003
Italy > South > Red Wine > Primitivo
"Re, "King" in Italian, is a cuvee of the best individual vineyards of the 2003 harvest in Salento, Puglia. Australian winemaker, Chris Ringland, developed this wine using select Primitivo and Negroamaro grapes harvested from 35 to 50 year old vineyards. Under Ringland's direction, La Corte specializes in the Zinfandel/Primitivo grape, for which the region of Puglia is widely known, as well as Negroamaro.
