Ceuso Custera Sicilia IGT 2004
Italy > The Islands > Red Wine > Nero d'Avola
Custera is a small single vineyard plot located a few kilometers from Alcamo in the soft hilly landscape of Sicily. The blend of grapes is thoroughly modern, Nero d'Avola (50%), Cabernet Sauvignon (30%), Merlot (20%). The resulting wine is full and rich, a perfect partner for roasted meats, stew, game, mushrooms and seasoned cheeses. Production is quite limited at just under 3,000 cases worldwide.
