Michael Goundrey developed vineyards in the 70s in an area south of Perth. In 10 years Goundrey Wines was one of western Australia's largest wineries. He sold in 1995 and set up Fox Wood in Languedoc in the south of France. This Syrah is a perfect integration of Old World and New World. Aromas and flavors of spicy fruit. Tannins are firm but subtle. One of our most popular wines!
