Ernst Loosen (pronounced "LOW-zin") is the current guardian of this renowned Mosel Saar Ruwer estate. Ernst is an advocate not only for his own wines, but for Riesling in particular and German wine as a whole. He makes his Riesling following organic methods and many of the Loosen vines are over 60 years old. Impeccably crafted this wine is a perfect partner for aperitifs, fish and blue cheese.
