Saget Montlouis 2004
France > Loire > White Wine > Chenin Blanc
The Loire Valley is called the "Garden of France", where the River Loire cuts through lush forests of oak and chestnut. Montlouis is made from Chenin Blanc grapes which typical have aromas of figs and peach. It enters with a hint of sweetness but balances with refreshing acidity and fruit. Nice mouthfeel and a persistent finish. Excellent value and delicious with oysters.
