Ramonet Chassagne Montrachet Vergers 2005

The famous domaine, according to some, is the home of Burgundy's greatest genius, Andre Ramonet. Half of the 34 acre domaine is white, including immaculately made Batard and Bienvenues-Batard-Montrachet, a delicate and racy Chassagne Montrachet Premier Cru Les Ruchottes, and excellent Chassagne "Villages". Their red wines are less famous but remarkably fine.
