From the maestro of Piedmont, another fascinating composition. Bruno Giacosa creates wine that's like a symphony of pleasures. A lovely core of sweet roses, raspberries, licorice and menthol. The tannins are big but will settle and smooth with age. Made from the heart of the Falletto vineyard and some of Italy's best Nebbiolo grapes. Anticipated maturity 2010-2023. Wine Advocate, 94 points.
