This is a new estate started by Spanish architect Alfredo Arribas in 2001 when he bought the property. The architect hired an experienced winemaker, Ricard Rofes and the Brunus shows his good taste. It's a blend of Carinena, Garnacha, and Syrah with "a lovely perfume of cedar, pencil lead, violets, blueberry, and black cherry...a lengthy, fruit-filled finish." Nice long finish. Wine Advocate, 90 pts.
