Girardin Corton Perrieres Grand Cru 2005

Vincent Girardin was born in Santenay, in the Cote de Beaune and is part of a winemaking family that dates back to the 17th century. Like France's famous Burgundies, Girardin has deep roots in the countryside. This is a Grand Cru and that means tremendous quality, complexity and flavors. A nose of blackberries, black currants, and toasty new oak. It's layered, concentrated and like velvet to sip.
