With just 14 hectares, the ambitious and dynamic Vincent Girardin has built up a small wine empire, recently extended with a business office. He currently produces wines of distinction where wood has a lesser presence than before. Santenay is undoubtedly his favourite, but Meursault, Pommard, and even Maranges, are skilfully turned into wine. 2005 was a spectacular vintage.
