Girardin Bourgogne Blanc 2005

Vincent Girardin is a force to be reckoned with. He produces excellent wines from a wide range of premiers crus and grands crus vineyards - predominantly in the Cote de Beaune. He is one of the new breed of high quality, terroir-focused proprietaire-negociants. This Chardonnay shows a very ripe nose of lemon drops and some butterscotch. Lots of butter on the palate and quite rich on the finish.
