Vincent Girardin is a force to be reckoned with. He produces excellent wines from a wide range of premiers crus and grands crus vineyards - predominantly in the Cote de Beaune. He is one of the new breed of high quality, terroir-focused proprietaire-negociants. His entry level Pinot Noir shows dark raspberry, blackberry and macerated cherry notes which are wed to a velvety texture. Very good value.
