Italy > Central > Red Wine > Cabernet Franc
Elisabetta Foradori, Giovanni Podini and Thomas Widmann are responsible for the creation of Ampeleia located in Maremma in Tuscany. They grow seven varietals and currently three are used (60% Cabernet Franc, 30% Sangiovese, and 10% Merlot). Each is grown in separate vineyards (Sopra, Mezzo and Sotto) at different elevations. Maremma today holds some of the most delicious wines from Italy.
